Artist's Statement Representational painting has much yet to offer, if not in terms of how we paint then certainly in terms of why we paint. There can not be a more exciting tool with which to explore the human mind. The  major themes in my work deal with the human condition, our relationship to the environment, our relationships to each other. The works are a culmination of ideas, images and symbols that come together in an intuitive manner. Each viewer brings to the work their own set of life experiences. None of the paintings are totally readable for they are open observations rather than closed statements. biography/inquiries
